CheckFree® NextSM delivers a best-in-class consumer-centric bill pay solution that offers a streamlined approach to navigating and managing the bill pay process. It is a fully responsive, mobile-first solution that provides a simple, intuitive and engaging bill pay experience for all your devices.
The following are some of the highlights of the Checkfree Next upgrade:
- Responsive web design detects and adapts to the screen size of your device, presenting a display that best matches the device’s screen size.
Mobile Phone (portrait orientation)
Mid-Sized Screens (mobile phones in landscape orientation, smaller tablets, or larger tablets in portrait orientation)
Mid-Sized Screens (tablet in landscape orientation)
Larger Screens (tablets in landscape orientation, laptops, and desktops)
- You will find your eBills and Reminders in a prominent Unpaid Bills section. Other billers will be arranged by activity in the My Billers section.
- Search has been added to the Bill Pay home page to help you locate a specific biller and navigate through Bill Pay more quickly and conveniently.
- You will be able to Show & Hide groups, sort billers by name or payment date.
- Multipay option will allow several payments to be made at one time (can only be performed on tablets in landscape orientation, laptops, and desktops).

Please Note:
- All billers in the old bill pay platform, as well as the payment history associated with these billers, will remain available in Checkfree Next.
- Payments that are currently being processed or are scheduled for future payment will remain unchanged.
- Autopay settings for eBills and recurring payments will remain in place.
