Marketing/Community Relations Specialist
Assumes responsibility for marketing, advertising, and public relations activities. Develops and implements marketing and advertising plans. Initiate, develop and coordinate all marketing information including design, budgeting, website activity, and measuring of results. Implement, coordinate, and active involvement in local community relations projects.
BS in Business or related field with a minimum of 3-5 years in a related position is required. Must be skilled in Quark, Photoshop Elements, and MS Office. Knowledge of the banking industry preferred.

Mortgage Loan Originator
Greater Milford Area
Responsible to originate loan volume and develop new residential mortgage business in an assigned geographic area.
Requires 1-3 years experience in real estate activities (including sales, mortgages and lending).
Position offers base salary plus bonus incentive.

Loan Originator - Inside
Function:
Interviews applicants for all types of loans.
Duties:
Interviews applicants for all types of loans, including preapprovals. Enters loan applications in computer system, submits loan applications to automated underwriting system for analysis and updates as needed.
Responds to inquiries from customers, real estate brokers, attorneys etc. solving problems as needed.
Maintains knowledge of Association loan products and lending guidelines, Secondary Market guidelines, and private mortgage insurance guidelines.
Processes and report all types of loan applications, including ordering appraisals, credit reports, plot plans, Flood Certificates, and verify income and assets as needed. Prepare file for underwriting as needed.
Maintains knowledge of Power Lender, Loan Prospector, and any computer systems utilized in originating all types of loans.
Prepares loan documents for in-house closing. Sets up and administers the closing, explaining all documents and witnessing signatures.
Position may require travel between Association facilities and outsiders working with Association.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Requirements:
Knowledge of FHLMC, MGIC, MFSLA and various other investor lending policies and procedures. Knowledge of federal and state lending regulations. Ability to determine qualifications of applicants in various situations. Good communication skills both written and verbal. Good Computer software knowledge. 2-3 years experience in mortgage banking or other organization in related responsibilities required.
