Milford Federal Savings & Loan Association donates
$1,500 to Alternatives Unlimited, Inc.

Milford Federal Savings and Loan Association recently donated $1,500 to Alternatives Unlimited, Inc. to benefit the organization’s annual community campaign. Alternatives is a non-profit corporation that provides residential, employment, and day services to adults with developmental and psychiatric disabilities throughout Central Massachusetts.

Cynthia A. Casey, President and CEO of Milford Federal and Beth Bozzini, Whitinsville Branch Manager, recently visited the Adult Learning Center, a day habilitation program in Whitinsville serving 40 adults with significant physical and developmental disabilities. “We were very impressed with the personal challenges and accomplishments of the individuals served and the caring and dedicated staff,” said Casey. “We are delighted to contribute to such a valuable program.”

“Milford Federal has been a wonderful supporter of Alternatives over the years,” said Dennis H. Rice, Executive Director. “Their generous contribution to our community campaign will allow us to purchase adaptive equipment to help the individuals we serve become less dependent and more self-reliant.”

Established in 1887, Milford Federal Savings & Loan has been serving the needs of its neighbors and friends in the Greater Milford area, the Blackstone Valley, and Northern RI for 120 years. It operates through four conveniently located offices and can also be found on the Internet at www.milfordfederal.com.
